This page is to explain how the airline functions on a daily
basis. First as a pilot you will be awarded the number of
hours from any previous virtual airlines that you nominate.
Any pilot ,no matter what rank, can fly any route with the equipment
that is most appropriate for that route. We have two hubs
here at Gateway Island Airways Polynesia, Faaa Tahti NTAA our main hub,
or Rangirora NTTG our regional hub. You may choose any flights
from these hubs. I encourage the use of FS Navigator for your flight
planning. This is one great tool for FS2002 and
FS2004. |

How To Join Polynesia Air Bridge
To
Join Gateway Island Airways Polynesia click on the 'Join Us' bar from the main
menu on the left of every page. Fill out and submit the form
which is presented to you. Please include your previous VA experience
if you wish to have those hours credited to you with GIA. Your
name and pilot number along with your ranking and flight hours will
be posted on our 'Pilot Roster' page within 48 hours. |

Pilots flying for GIA Polynesia are ranked according to the total number of
hours flown. Our ranking structure is displayed at the bottom
of the 'Pilot Roster' page. |

Executive Jobs with GIA Polynesia
Just like real airlines VAs also need a management structure
to attend to the day-to-day running of the organization. There
are always managerial positions available with GIA Polynesia and any pilot
applying for one of these vacancies will be awarded a bonus of 50
Hours. The jobs currently available are displayed on the 'Join
Us' page. |

How to file a
PIREP
A PIREP is a 'pilot report' which should be filed following every
flight. Flight hours will not be awarded unless the hours
claimed are submitted on the official PIREP form. The form is available from the 'File a PIREP' bar from the main menu at the left of every page. Fill
out the form, as appropriate for your flight, and press the 'Submit'
button. Your claim will be processed by the webmaster within
48 hours of receipt and your updated hours credited to your Pilot
Roster account. |
