Operations

    Welcome to the CIAS Operations Page. This will provide a brief explanation of how we work:   Any pilot, no matter what rank, can fly any aircraft. You will find the ranking chart below the roster on the roster page. You are only required to conduct one flight per month to be considered active on the roster.  Those are the only two hard and fast rules of our virtual airline.

    You will notice that our flight schedules do not include departure and arrival times for our flights.  Pilots may choose their own departure times for their added convenience .  Charter flights are acceptable.  It is up to the pilots themselves to come up with the destinations as well as sending all pertinent information in on the PIREP form after the flight is completed.
