Aerostar has dedicated this site to the preservation of the Douglas Twin Jets series aircraft  that was introduced in 1963. Through the airliners 40 year history there were several variations of this aircraft that are being represented on this site.

Aerostar fleet of DC-9s, MD80's, MD90, and B717-200(MD95) currently operate from the Gary/ Chicago International Airport (KGYY) in Northwest Indiana. We service domestic commuter and vacation destination routes.

Our ultimate goal here at Aerostar Airlines is to provide you the pilot with an organized, fun, and nostalgic atmosphere where you can truly enjoy the pleasure of being an airline pilot in a tightly-knit community.
